Larrupin’ Origins
Founded in 1983, Larrupin' has been a cherished dining destination in Trinidad, California for decades. The restaurant was originally located in Westhaven before moving to its iconic location on Patrick’s Point Drive. The name "Larrupin'“ is Creole slang meaning “FINGER-LICKIN’ GOOD” This sentiment has guided the restaurant’s philosophy, creating bold, flavorful dishes that have delighted customers for generations.
One of The Larrupin’ Cafe’s most famous contributions to Humboldt County’s food scene is its signature mustard-dill sauce, introduced in 1983 and has since become a Pacific Northwest favorite.
